In February, 2021, the League of Women Voters of Hancock County will launch the program, Pass It On: Just Mercy, a Community Read and Conversation. This project has been made possible through a grant by Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities. It is also supported by the Hancock County Public Library, Hancock Health, and the Indiana League of Women Voters.

Just Mercy, by Brain Stevenson, will be available for checkout from the Hancock County Public Library. Additionally, free copies will be placed around the county for anyone to pick-up, read, and then pass on to the next reader. Book clubs are encouraged to adopt this title for 2021.
