To celebrate the upcoming movie adaptation of everyone’s favorite childhood nightmare-fuel–Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, by Alvin Schwartz–Q Artistry brings the book’s favorite tales to life during a wild and chilling musical romp for anyone over the age of 10.
“The Hook,” “The Babysitter,” “The Thing,” and other spooky stories will thrill and scare as the audience is made part of the action in this brand new theatrical event created exclusively for the Hancock County Public Library.
Q Artistry, the makers of Cabaret Poe and other fantastic musical adventures, is a collaboration of Indiana artists and professionals dedicated to enlightening, educating and entertaining through original productions, presentations and events.
Discover “A Universe of Stories” through song this summer with weekly performances by local bands, singer-songwriters, and thespians in our “Summer Songteller Series.” The series is sponsored by the Friends of Hancock County Public Library in conjunction with the summer reading club. Join the club and earn entries in prize drawings by reading books and attending events during June and July.
