The Riley Festival invites you to enjoy one of the largest craft festivals in the state of Indiana, with designated areas for food, commercial and flea market booths and much more. The event follows years of traditions in the celebration of the birth date of James Whitcomb Riley, the “Hoosier Poet.” Residents of Greenfield, Hancock County and the surrounding area join talent and resources annually to honor the memory of Greenfield’s noted native son.
The Riley Boyhood Home and Museum, 250 W. Main St., will be open for free tours at selected times. The Mayor’s Breakfast will be held at Trinity Park UM Church at 7:00 am. Tickets will be available at the Riley Festival offie, 312 E. Main St. The Riley Festival Parade will begin at 11:00 am at the Greenfield Central High School and proceed through the downtown to Riley Park.
